Anti-C2GNT2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the C2GNT2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GCNT3 gene, which encodes glucosaminyl (N-acetyl) transferase 3, mucin type. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. The human version of C2GNT2 has a canonical amino acid length of 438 residues and a protein mass of 50.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and kidney. Other names for this target antigen include C2/4GnT and C24GNT. Indicated applications for C2GNT2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
