Anti-CHO2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CHO2 is a known alias name of the protein EBP cholestenol delta-isomerase, encoded by the EBP gene in humans. This 230-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the conversion of Delta(8)-sterols to their corresponding Delta(7)-isomers. It is localized to the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasmic vesicles of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the colon, testis, and adrenal gland. Other synonyms for CHO2 include CDPX2 and CPX. ELISA is a widely used application for the CHO2 antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
