Anti-CAA antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene TSHZ1, or 'teashirt zinc finger homeobox 1' in humans. The 1077-amino acid protein is a member of the Teashirt C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. The cellular localization is predicted to be nuclear.
