Anti-BOB.1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BOB.1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the POU2AF1 gene, which encodes POU class 2 homeobox associating factor 1. This protein is known to function in viral immune response and germinal center B cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of BOB.1 has a canonical amino acid length of 256 residues and a protein mass of 27.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in the testis, spleen, lymph node, bone marrow, and appendix. This target antigen may also be known as OBF-1. Western Blot is the most common application for the BOB.1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
