Anti-ATPE antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ATPE is a known alias name of the protein ATP synthase F1 subunit epsilon, encoded by the ATP5F1E gene in humans. This 51-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Eukaryotic ATPase epsilon protein family. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for ATPE include ATP5E and MC5DN3. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for ATPE antibodies.
