Anti-APS1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target APS1 is a known alias name of the protein nudix hydrolase 11, encoded by the NUDT11 gene in humans. This 164-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in metabolic processes, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be mainly expressed in the testis and, at lower level in the brain.
