Anti-AI1C antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AI1C antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ENAM gene, which encodes enamelin. This protein is known to function in ameloblast differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of AI1C has a canonical amino acid length of 1142 residues and a protein mass of 128.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the extracellular matrix and is secreted of cells. This target antigen may also be known as ADAI.
