Anti-DNAAF3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein dynein axonemal assembly factor 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 541 amino acid residues and a mass of 59.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the DNAAF3 protein family, DNAAF3 is known to be required for the assembly of axonemal inner and outer dynein arms. The DNAAF3 gene has been associated with the disease, Ciliary dyskinesia. Synonyms for this target antigen include UPF0470 protein C19orf51. DNAAF3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for DNAAF3 antibodies.
