Anti-CPT1M antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CPT1M is a known alias name of the protein carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1B, encoded by the CPT1B gene in humans. This 772-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in fatty acid metabolism, among other biological processes. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the heart and skeletal muscle. The term CPTI is another synonym for CPT1M. Indicated applications for CPT1M antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
