Anti-CEAR antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CEAR antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HNRNPM gene, which encodes heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein M. This protein is known to function in RNA splicing, among other biological roles. The human version of CEAR has a canonical amino acid length of 730 residues and a protein mass of 77.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as HNRNPM4. Indicated applications for CEAR antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
