Anti-BEC2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target BEC2 is a known alias name of the protein potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily H member 4, encoded by the KCNH4 gene in humans. This 1017-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in potassium ion transport and the transport of ions, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. The term ELK1 is another synonym for BEC2. Western Blot is the most common application for the BEC2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
