Anti-ATG8F antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ATG8F antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MAP1LC3B gene, which encodes microtubule associated protein 1 light chain 3 beta. This protein is known to function in autophagy pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of ATG8F has a canonical amino acid length of 125 residues and a protein mass of 14.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of cells. ATG8F is a member of the ATG8 protein family. A number of ATG8F antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
