Anti-argS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target argS is a known alias name of the protein serpin family A member 2 (gene/pseudogene), encoded by the SERPINA2 gene in humans. This 421-amino acid residue protein is believed to be a serine protease inhibitor. It is localized to the ER of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the liver, leukocytes and testis. ELISA is a widely used application for the argS antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
