Anti-AMAP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AMAP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ASAP1 gene, which encodes ArfGAP with SH3 domain, ankyrin repeat and PH domain 1. This protein is known to function in cilium assembly, among other biological roles. The human version of AMAP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1129 residues and a protein mass of 125.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
