Anti-FES1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FES1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HSPBP1 gene, which encodes HSPA (Hsp70) binding protein 1. This protein is known to function in protein folding, among other biological roles. The human version of FES1 has a canonical amino acid length of 359 residues and a protein mass of 39.3 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as hsp70-binding protein 1. Western Blot is the most common application for the FES1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
