Anti-ECA5 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The ECA5 antigen is another term for the human protein gamma-aminobutyric acid type A receptor subunit beta3, encoded by the GABRB3 gene. The protein is known to function in chemical synaptic transmission and signal transduction pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 473 residues and a mass of 54.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cell membrane. The ECA5 protein is a member of the Ligand-gated ion channel (TC 1.A.9) protein family. Other alias names for ECA5 include DEE43 and EIEE43. Western Blot is a widely used application for the ECA5 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunocytochemistry is also a common application.
