Anti-CycC antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CycC antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CCNC gene, which encodes cyclin C. This protein is known to function in the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of CycC has a canonical amino acid length of 283 residues and a protein mass of 33.2 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. CycC is a member of the Cyclin protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the CycC antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
