Anti-CLEC4H1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CLEC4H1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ASGR1 gene, which encodes asialoglycoprotein receptor 1. This protein is known to mediate the endocytosis of plasma glycoproteins to which the terminal sialic acid residue on their complex carbohydrate moieties has been removed. The human version of CLEC4H1 has a canonical amino acid length of 291 residues and a protein mass of 33.2 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is notably expressed in the liver. Other names for this target antigen include ASGPR, ASGPR, and ASGPR1. Western Blot is the most common application for the CLEC4H1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
