Anti-ASPIC antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ASPIC is a known alias name of the protein cartilage acidic protein 1, encoded by the CRTAC1 gene in humans. This protein has a canonical amino acid length of 661 residues and a mass of 71.4 kDa. It is localized to the extracellular matrix and is secreted of the cell and features O-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the interterritorial matrix of articular deep zone cartilage. The term ASPIC1 is another synonym for ASPIC. Indicated applications for ASPIC antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
