Anti-BH antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BH antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the BLMH gene, which encodes bleomycin hydrolase. This protein is known to function in protein ubiquitination and proteolysis, among other biological roles. The human version of BH has a canonical amino acid length of 455 residues and a protein mass of 52.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the skin and testis. BH is a member of the Peptidase C1 protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the BH antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
