Anti-3BETAHSD antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the 3BETAHSD antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HSD3B1 gene, which encodes hydroxy-delta-5-steroid dehydrogenase, 3 beta- and steroid delta-isomerase 1. This protein is known to function in brain development, among other biological roles. The human version of 3BETAHSD has a canonical amino acid length of 373 residues and a protein mass of 42.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria and ER of cells and notably expressed in the placenta and testis. This target antigen may also be known as HSD3B. Indicated applications for 3BETAHSD antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
