Anti-ATA2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ATA2 is a known alias name of the protein solute carrier family 38 member 2, encoded by the SLC38A2 gene in humans. This 506-amino acid residue protein is a reported symporter that cotransports neutral amino acids and sodium ions from the extraccellular to the intracellular side of the cell membrane. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features ubiquitinated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The term PRO1068 is another synonym for ATA2. Indicated applications for ATA2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
