Anti-ART-27 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ART-27 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the UXT gene, which encodes ubiquitously expressed prefoldin like chaperone. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and cytoskeleton organization, among other biological roles. The human version of ART-27 has a canonical amino acid length of 157 residues and a protein mass of 18.2 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as ART-27. Indicated applications for ART-27 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
