Anti-AGS antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The AGS antigen is another term for the human protein jagged canonical Notch ligand 1, encoded by the JAG1 gene. The protein is known to function in angiogenesis, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1218 residues and a mass of 133.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is found to be widely expressed in adult and fetal tissues. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for AGS antibodies.
