Anti-APP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the APP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the XPNPEP1 gene, which encodes X-prolyl aminopeptidase 1. This protein is known to function in proteolysis, among other biological roles. The human version of APP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 623 residues and a protein mass of 69.9 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the duodenum and pancreas. APP1 is a member of the Peptidase M24B protein family. Indicated applications for APP1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
