Anti-ACT2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ACT2 is a known alias name of the protein C-C motif chemokine ligand 4, encoded by the CCL4 gene in humans. This 92-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion and cell to cell signaling, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features cleaved post-translational modifications. The term AT744.1 is another synonym for ACT2. A number of ACT2 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
