Anti-alsS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target alsS is a known alias name of the protein ALMS1 centrosome and basal body associated protein, encoded by the ALMS1 gene in humans. This 4168-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in PCM1-dependent intracellular transport. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in all tissues tested including adipose and pancreas. The term centrosome-associated protein ALMS1 is another synonym for alsS. Indicated applications for alsS antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
