Anti-1G5 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the 1G5 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CAMKV gene, which encodes CaM kinase like vesicle associated. This protein is known to function in peptidyl-serine phosphorylation, among other biological roles. The human version of 1G5 has a canonical amino acid length of 501 residues and a protein mass of 54.4 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. 1G5 is a member of the CAMK Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. Indicated applications for 1G5 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
