Anti-Aldo2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Aldo2 is a known alias name of the protein aldolase, fructose-bisphosphate B, encoded by the ALDOB gene in humans. This 364-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in metabolic processes, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in the small intestine, liver, kidney, and duodenum. Other synonyms for Aldo2 include ALDB and fructose-bisphosphate aldolase B. Western Blot is the most common application for the Aldo2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
