Anti-AC2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AC2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ADCY2 gene, which encodes adenylate cyclase 2. This protein is known to function in GPCR signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of AC2 has a canonical amino acid length of 1091 residues and a protein mass of 123.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as HBAC2. Indicated applications for AC2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
