Anti-ADCL2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ADCL2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FBLN5 gene, which encodes fibulin 5. This protein is known to function in cell matrix adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of ADCL2 has a canonical amino acid length of 448 residues and a protein mass of 50.2 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the extracellular matrix and is secreted of cells and notably expressed in the smooth muscle, skin, ovary, and endometrium. ADCL2 is a member of the Fibulin protein family. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for ADCL2 antibodies.
