Anti-ARB2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ARB2 is a known alias name of the protein arrestin beta 2, encoded by the ARRB2 gene in humans. This 409-amino acid residue protein is reported to function in regulating agonist-mediated G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling by mediating both receptor desensitization and resensitization processes. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. The term ARR2 is another synonym for ARB2. Western Blot is the most common application for the ARB2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
