Anti-MYP antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The MYP antigen is another term for the human protein nucleolar protein 3, encoded by the NOL3 gene. The protein is suspected to be involved in RNA splicing. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 208 residues and a mass of 22.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is reported to be highly expressed in the heart and skeletal muscle. Other alias names for MYP include ARC, FCM, and MYOCL1.
