Anti-UDPGDH antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target UDPGDH is a known alias name of the protein UDP-glucose 6-dehydrogenase, encoded by the UGDH gene in humans. This 494-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the formation of UDP-alpha-D-glucuronate, a constituent of complex glycosaminoglycans. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in fetal placenta, liver, pancreas, spleen, thymus, prostate, ovary, small intestine and colon. Other synonyms for UDPGDH include DEE84, EIEE84, and GDH. Indicated applications for UDPGDH antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
