Anti-TKA-1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TKA-1 is a known alias name of the protein NHERF family PDZ scaffold protein 2, encoded by the NHERF2 gene in humans. This 337-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a scaffold protein that connects plasma membrane proteins with members of the ezrin/moesin/radixin family and thereby helps to link them to the actin cytoskeleton and to regulate their surface expression. It is localized to the nucleus and cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for TKA-1 include E3KARP, NHE3RF2, and OCTS2. Indicated applications for TKA-1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
