Anti-WAP5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target WAP5 is a known alias name of the protein WAP four-disulfide core domain 2, encoded by the WFDC2 gene in humans. This 124-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in innate immune responses and proteolysis, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in a number of normal tissues, including male reproductive system, regions of the respiratory tract and nasopharynx. Other synonyms for WAP5 include EDDM4 and HE4. ELISA is a widely used application for the WAP5 antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
