Anti-SGLT3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SGLT3 is a known alias name of the protein solute carrier family 5 member 4, encoded by the SLC5A4 gene in humans. This 659-amino acid residue protein is known to have electrogenic activity in response to glucose, and may function as a glucose sensor. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in skeletal muscle, where it may localize to the neuromuscular junction. Other synonyms for SGLT3 include DJ90G24.4 and SAAT1. Indicated applications for SGLT3 antibodies listed below include Immunohistochemistry.
