MAID, or Cyclin D-type binding-protein 1, is a human gene encoded by CCNDBP1. It may also be known as: Cyclin-D1-binding protein 1; Grap2 and cyclin-D-interacting protein; Human homolog of Maid; D-type cyclin-interacting protein 1 protein; HHM Protein; grap2 cyclin interacting protein; GCIP. The encoded protein has an amino acid length of 360 and a mass of 40.3 kDa. Other isoforms may exist. MAID is a member of the CCNDBP1 family.
