Anti-PAC2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PAC2 is a known alias name of the protein tubulin folding cofactor E, encoded by the TBCE gene in humans. This 527-amino acid residue protein is known to be a tubulin-folding protein; involved in the second step of the tubulin folding pathway and in the regulation of tubulin heterodimer dissociation. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and spleen.
