Anti-NPFF1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NPFF1 is a known alias name of the protein neuropeptide FF receptor 1, encoded by the NPFFR1 gene in humans. This 430-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for NPAF (A-18-F-amide) and NPFF (F-8-F-amide) neuropeptides, also known as morphine-modulating peptides. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications.
