Anti-RNF96 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RNF96 is a known alias name of the protein tripartite motif containing 28, encoded by the TRIM28 gene in humans. This 835-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in chromatin organization and DNA repair, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features ubiquitinated, sumoylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in all tissues tested including spleen, thymus, prostate, testis, ovary, small intestine, colon and peripheral blood leukocytes. Other synonyms for RNF96 include KAP1 and PPP1R157. Western Blot is the most common application for the RNF96 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
