Anti-PCPE2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PCPE2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PCOLCE2 gene, which encodes procollagen C-endopeptidase enhancer 2. This protein is known to bind to the C-terminal propeptide of types I and II procollagens and may enhance the cleavage of that propeptide by BMP1. The human version of PCPE2 has a canonical amino acid length of 415 residues and a protein mass of 45.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be a secreted protein. Indicated applications for PCPE2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
