Anti-CPAMD7 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CPAMD7 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CD109 gene, which encodes CD109 molecule. This protein is known to function in hair follicle development, among other biological roles. The human version of CPAMD7 has a canonical amino acid length of 1445 residues and a protein mass of 161.7 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the hair and parathyroid gland. CPAMD7 is a member of the Protease inhibitor I39 (alpha-2-macroglobulin) protein family. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for CPAMD7 antibodies.
