Anti-TYK1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TYK1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the LTK gene, which encodes leukocyte receptor tyrosine kinase. This protein is known to function in cell proliferation and the regulation of apoptosis, among other biological roles. The human version of TYK1 has a canonical amino acid length of 864 residues and a protein mass of 91.7 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified.
