Anti-HRES1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HRES1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RAB4A gene, which encodes RAB4A, member RAS oncogene family. This protein is known to function in protein transport and vesicle-mediated transport, among other biological roles. The human version of HRES1 has a canonical amino acid length of 218 residues and a protein mass of 24.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the membrane and cytoplasm of cells. HRES1 is a member of the Rab protein family.
