Anti-EEK antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EEK is a known alias name of the protein EPH receptor A8, encoded by the EPHA8 gene in humans. This 1005-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor tyrosine kinase which binds promiscuously GPI-anchored ephrin-A family ligands residing on adjacent cells, leading to contact-dependent bidirectional signaling into neighboring cells. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. The term EK3 is another synonym for EEK. Indicated applications for EEK antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
