Anti-p95 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target p95 is a known alias name of the protein nibrin, encoded by the NBN gene in humans. This 754-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the MRE11-RAD50-NBN (MRN complex) which plays a critical role in the cellular response to DNA damage and the maintenance of chromosome integrity. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for p95 include AT-V1, AT-V2, and ATV. Western Blot is a widely used application for the p95 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
