Anti-SK4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SK4 is a known alias name of the protein potassium calcium-activated channel subfamily N member 4, encoded by the KCNN4 gene in humans. This 427-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the transport of ions and cellular localization, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed in non-excitable tissues. Other synonyms for SK4 include DHS2, IK, and IK1. Western Blot is the most common application for the SK4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
