Anti-PPAR-beta antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PPAR-beta antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PPARD gene, which encodes peroxisome proliferator activated receptor delta. This protein is known to function in adipose tissue development and the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of PPAR-beta has a canonical amino acid length of 441 residues and a protein mass of 49.9 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified.
