Anti-MNF antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MNF antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FOXK1 gene, which encodes forkhead box K1. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. The human version of MNF has a canonical amino acid length of 733 residues and a protein mass of 75.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as forkhead box protein K1.
